This year i have been nominated for:
- Best Actor (for "The Ivy League")
- Performer of the Year
I think i write this blog every year cuz i guess i have the same feeling every year. Basically i'm not excited. Three years and 7 nominations, and i am still awardless. I know in previous blogs i mentioned that i didnt think i was going to win, but in the back of my mind i honestly thought and hoped i would. This year... I DONT THINK I AM GONNA WIN SHIT. The thought isnt even in the back of my head. I will just try to enjoy the show, put on my fake as fuck smile and try to kiss up to the right people so that maybe i win something next year. (3 years in this business and still haven't sucked the right dick to win an award...sad, so sad)
Although, i didnt win last year, i did get to make my way on stage and steal a kiss from Kathy Griffen, but i was drunk as fuck and i dont drink anymore, so how the fuck am i gonna make my mark this year? Maybe i will come out of sobriety just for the night.... hmmmmm, i know if i put to much thought into doing something, it will come out corny, i think i need some liquid confidence and just wing it. Sold. (be prepared san fran)

Congratulations on the award nomination. I'm sure you hear this all the time and its kinda cheesy but anyone who gets nominated for any award in their profession is obviously pretty good at what they do!
BTW I thought you were thinking about giving up your job in 8 months? What changed your mind?
Congrats on the noms, but Erik, if you're burnt out on the industry and don't think you're gonna win anyway...why are you going? And with the possibility of breaking sobriety, it might be a better idea to just do something else. Why not go on a cruise or trek through Europe instead? Get away for a while, it would likely do you good.

I find it kinda painful to read your words but damn I really like your candor and honesty. I think its almost impossible not to be bitter right now. Its new. work through your stuff and just know lots of people are thinking of you. Take care.

Again congratulations on the awards nominations, but perhaps more importnatly congratulations on your honesty and your sobriety.
I am sure that i speak or many other fans when I say that I hope that things will get better for you soon - as I am sure they will - I know it's a cliche but sometimes that whole "what doesnt kill me only makes me stronger" thing does hold true. Anyway hope that all goes well for you ! (BTW if you like horror movies check out "Them" (French movie and scary as hell), "Behind the Mask - Rise of Leslie Vernon" (really cool and really funny)

Since you mentioned that you don't intend to renew your contract, are you contractually obliged to go?
Or is it a chance to say goodbye to some people?

I hate to have to agree, but, no, I don't think you're likely to win either. Falcon is a company on the skids, and Ivy League wasn't a very good movie. Why you let them make you wear those queer socks?
Guess it's par for the course for the way your luck goes that you'd resign with a company going downhill. You should've gone free-agent, or signed with one of the top companies like Hot House, Titan or Raging Stallion. That way you'd at least get some good dick.
I need your help! I have guests coming for dinner tomorrow night and I need a Jell-O salad recipe. I had one in mind that used lime jello, cream cheese and pecans but it calls for crushed pineapple and I don't have any. I do have orange Jell-O, sugar-free, of course, and mandarin oranges. Do you think I could do the same recipe with those instead of lime and pineapple? Also, do you have a good quick, easy Jell-O salad with lemon Jell-O and cream cheese? I'm not sure what to use with that for a fruit but think I could still do the pecans. I just need something light but cold on the table and was thinking the lemon because I'm making shrimp scampi. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Hey man, I think you're awesome. You're extremely hot, articulate, funny, and that bit with you and Kathy Griffin at last years GayVN's was terrific. Never underestimate the honour of being nominated. Your performances are a serious turn on. But the best thing about you, I feel, is that you come across as a very genuine human being.
